In 2012, fashion icons and celebrities from all over the world have come together to celebrate beauty in lingerie on the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
Victoria's Secret Angels have created a reputation for being the most sought after supermodels in the world, causing the hashtag
#VSFashionShow to trend worldwide.
Mind you, not all top models get to be part of this event so being on the ramp or to even be at the event itself is a major thing.
The latest show featured a number of today's hottest supermodels like Adriana Lima (
@AdrianaLima), Alessandra Ambrosio (
@AngelAlessandra), Miranda Kerr (
@MirandaKerr) and Erin Heatherton (
@ErinHeatherton).
Also on the roster were Doutzen Kroes (
@Doutzen), Lily Aldrige (
@LilyAldrige), Joan Smalls (
@JoanSmalls), Karlie Kloss (
@KarlieKloss), Candice Swanepoel (
@AngelCandice) and many other carefully selected heavenly bodies, so to speak.
For 2012, CBS featured the lingerie TV special for a full on December 4, although the actual show and taping happened in November 8 in New York.
The show kicked off with an announcement that CBS and Victoria's Secret would be donating proceeds from the event to those affected by superstorm Sandy. It also acknowledged the National Guard. The fashion show was held at the Lexington Avenue Armory in Manhattan.
#VSFashionShow was where fans and viewers were able to get up close and personal with some of the biggest names in the business, as well as given access to what's happening behind-the-scenes through various social media channels.
This year, the ?Fantasy Bra?, the most expensive on the set worth $2.5 million, was worn by Alessandra Ambrosio. The Fantasy Bra was handcrafted by London Jewelers, with gems featuring a 20-carat white diamond, sapphires, rubies, amethysts and many other sparkly (and pricey) things.
Special live performances were delivered by pop icons Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber and Rihanna.
