Houston Firefighters get the love and support from two groups. The community can show their support through Firefighters Helping Firefighters (firehelpingfire.org & Facebook.com/firehelpingfire) and organization that provides assistance to HFD firefighters in crisis. This group is open to the public and encouraged to participate in various fundraisers and events. We also welcome business to support the men and women that serve and protect them. Family members can support and get support through a group called Houston Fire Wives a Local Auxiliary to the Local341 Union chapter (houstonfirewives.org). The Houston Fire Wives is a membership organization for spouses, siblings, parents and children (18+) of HFD active, retired and deceased firefighters.
