Manhattan Beach California is home to one of the most beautiful holiday events in America, the Christmas Pier Lighting! This event is held each year on the third Sunday of December. We also have a Holiday Open House in which merchants stay open late and server refreshments and have special sales. Christmas carolers stroll the Manhattan Beach Blvd. and Manhattan Avenue warming the hearts of shoppers with their sounds of the season. Reindeer are corralled for kids to see and pet and of course, Santa Claus is on hand to take note of the good kids' Christmas lists! The night culminates with a fireworks show to celebrate Christmas that rivals any fireworks show anyplace in the world!
