While growing up in Brooklyn, NY in the Carroll Garden's neighborhood on the corner of Court Street and Carroll Street, Dave was no stranger to the Italian lifestyle that surrounded him. Right next door to Dave's brownstone apartment was Casa Rosa, a restaurant that was owned by members of the Genovese Crime Family. Dave at the age of six became one of the few outsiders that Vincent "the Chin" Gigante looked out for, and was assured that if anyone made any moves they would be gone forever. But a year prior to his formal introduction to Vincent and his crew, Dave began his desire to create hip-hop music through the b-boy culture of break dancing on cardboard boxes in Carroll Park right across the street from where he lived. Hip-hop has always been embedded in the core of imagination that Dave took away from Brooklyn when he moved away at the age of 8. Like they say in Brooklyn, "You can take the boy out of Brooklyn. But you can never take the Brooklyn out of the boy." When he was 6 years old Dave Dave was honored as the Keeper of the Flame by the wonderful people on Ellis Island, brought awareness to the issue of child abuse throughout the world, and influenced others to be courageous. When visiting the New York Stock exchange, the NYSE stopped for a few minutes when Dave arrived. In that year, Dave Dave was given a scarf and a pin by Mayor Koch. In that brief meeting Dave threw the scarf and pin on the floor and proclaimed, "This city sucks," because he was from Brooklyn. In that year, Dave Dave was introduced to members of many New York professional athletes. The athletes included Reggie Jackson, Lawrence Taylor, Willie Randolph, George Steinbrenner, Phil Rizutto, and Yogi Berra. Through Rhil Rizzutto of the New York Rangers, Dave was introduced to Hockey Great Ron Duguay. During the years of 1983 and 1995 Dave Dave traveled from city to city giving national interviews with national, local, and international publications, and appeared on national and international television that reached millions upon millions of people. In 1996 Dave received a call directly from William Bell and was asked to appear in two episodes of the popular soap opera. after shooting the episodes of bold and the Beautiful conducted a mini tour appearing on all of the Los Angeles morning shows, as well as Extra and Entertainment Tonight. Along his magnificent quest for enlightenment through his own creativity, Dave surrounded himself with many actors, directors, comedians, strippers, musical artists, television producers clothing designers, film directors and eclectic people within the Los Angeles area. Along with being surrounded by the entertainment side of the music and film industry, Dave worked for Legendary Director and Producer Tony Bill on a film starring Randy Quaid, James Woods, Lucinda Jenny and Kate Capshaw called Next Door. Several years later Dave began his work within within the music field as an archiver of books, photos, and media. While he was acquiring experience within the musical field, Dave began DJ'ing tech house at The Martini Lounge, a club once located on the corner of Melrose and Larchmont in Hollywood, CA. In 1996 Dave received an LA music award. In 1997, Dave was accepted into Art Center College of Design, a prestigious design school. At Art Center College of Design, Dave attended with a very notable band by the name of Linkin Park. Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington who were studying design and illlustration along with DJ Hahn who then were performing as a band called Xero. And while at Art Center, Dave became friends with the artist known as Shark Toof and Joseph Watson, who currently is the owner a gallery in Las Vegas called the Joseph Watson Collection. And in 1999 Dave received a Los Angeles Music Award. Over the course of a couple years Dave began entrenched in the Los Angeles Rave culture beginning when he briefly lived in Sacramento. Currently, Dave is emerging as a serious player in the music industry as a producer, writer, and as an artist. He currently lives in Las Vegas, NV, freestyles at clubs and on Freemont and 7th Avenue in downtown Las Vegas periodically on Saturday nights from 12:30 AM - 2 AM. Dave is currently working on a full length album which will be distributed worldwide digitally along with a physical release that will include artwork, new photos, along with new music.
