Human rights based on science, i.e. observations of the physical universe. Also known as natural rights except that these must no be based on religious faith if they are to be secular.

If a human capability is restricted to any degree, then the corresponding human right to use that power or capacity has been violated. This is one of the ways to define secular rights.
