People also shared memes about African countries and the difficulties and political issues that their citizens deal with every day.

Another said, ?South Africa would be that kid who goes to Namibia on holiday and comes back with a Californian accent.? Social media users used the name of countries to describe the social predicaments and controversies surrounding blacks, whether abroad or at home. The hashtag hit a whopping 43,600 tweets at its peak.
