The DCH Foundation hosts the 17th annual BBQ & Blue Jeans on May 17, 2014 to benefit The DCH Help & Hope Patient Assistance Fund. The Fund helps cancer patients in West Alabama during their treatment at DCH?s Manderson Cancer Center by providing them with financial assistance for items such as prescription medications, transportation to and from treatment, lodging, and medical equipment. This event is a good time for a great cause, with McAbee Pigfitters BBQ, silent auction, live Blues music, and jewelry giveaway by Hudson-Poole Fine Jewelers.
