Going "green" as a business can be seen as something that was done as apposed to the required continuing improvement that the planet needs if we are to keep from causing warming the Earth too much. Therefore we suggest the adoption of the term #Greening, seeing this as is a verb (meaning it represents ongoing or continual action). A company or organization (even a homeowner) that is "greening" is continually taking steps to; (i) reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and; (ii) cut down waste, and, making choices to buy; (iii) less polluting products/services, and; (iv) from companies and service providers that are themselves on a "Greening" path. This HASHTAG is comprised of two words put together; GREEN and CALLING. And it describes just that; the act of calling on people to spread the word about going green. GOING GREEN is an expression meant as living sustainable lifestyle and operating business in a sustainable fashion. It is more though, not just ?reduce, reuse and recycle? as it refers to us or our business but also to other businesses, as this affects us. Thus #GreenCalling is about us, our business and activism regarding other businesses too.

The HASHTAG consists of two words put together; ?oil? and ?propaganda?. In this case the meaning of the 2nd word, ?propaganda?, is ?misinformation? or ?half truths? and both apply what is happening in media right now. Big Oil spends money on lobbyists, science reports (that lend to their economic interests) and advertisements. They have the money to run expensive campaigns on TV and online and they are, in order to win the ?battle for the mind? and influence public opinion. Its working. One such online campaign is found in a FLASH video on a website that states ?We will still need fossil fuels, such as oil and gas, for the foreseeable future but increasingly other sources of energy, from wind and biofuels to solar, are making their presence felt.? The second part of this statement is true, renewables are making their presence felt. The first part is simply misinformation. The FLASH video also suggests ?The best wind can achieve is 7.45% of global energy demand?, which simply is not valid. This is simply propaganda.
