Participating Solo Artists, or Groups compete is a series of skill based challenges, which include engaging their fans through social networks. We start by selecting the top 100 Solo Artists, who compete in 4 skill based challenges, and the field of Solo Artists, or Groups are narrowed down to the Top 10. The Top 10 Finalists compete in a 2-part Final Challenge, which includes a live performance in a selected city. Leading music industry professionals will judge and a winner is selected.

Ignite Urban provides “artists” in music and entertainment a way to demonstrate personal value compared to their peers, and industry leaders are able to identify key artists who have a high probability of becoming the “act” delivering substantial value. The Ignite Urban Challenge is a national music talent competition, where the winner receives a recording contract, and possible publishing contract.
