Invest Georgia Exemption - Farms Crowdfunding will be a reality very soon in the USA, however in Georgia it is a reality now. Georgia lost over 5,500 farms between 2007 and 2012, 76% of that number were beginning farmers. Georgia has the agricultural infrastructure to support new farmers; it is the financial infrastructure that is lacking. The Invest Georgia Exemption will allow a community or county to raise capital from Georgia residents to buy or establish a local organic farm. Georgia has 159 Counties.
