The Great Dorset Steam Fair is the world's largest heritage and cultural event showcasing national industrial, agricultural and leisure history. It takes place in August every year at Tarrant Hinton in Dorset.
It's a family event that attracts over 200,000 visitors each year to the 600 acre site. In 2013 it was featured on BBC One's Countryfile on front of 6.7 million viewers.
From small beginnings this annual event has become one of the favoured places for those interested in how people lived, worked and played in bygone years and it is now widely recognised as "THE" National Heritage Show as well as being regarded as the leading show of its type in the World.
