Once a legend, always a legend.
David Bowie surprised the public with the release of a new single "Where Are We Now?" on his website -- or his first new song since 2003.
The announcement shocked fans all over the world, in a positive way, of course, leading many to express their happiness and awe in a medium that had not existed the last time Bowie was producing: Twitter.
The hashtag #DavidBowie and #Bowie enjoyed high moments on the microblogging site shortly after @DavidBowieReal posted on January 7.
