The cryptic Twitter post by a teenage girl before she reportedly disappeared has sparked a wave support for her search with #HelpFindKara.

On Septemer 30, 2012, 16-year-old Kara Alongi (@KaraAlongi) posted this on her account.

The post immediately resulted in mass of retweets and calls for help from people in her community, leading the hashtag to seriously trend on the social networking platform. Here's the activity on #HelpFindKara. Police went to Alongi's home in Clark that evening to investigate -- nobody answered the door. NBC 4 New York also reportedly tried to call the girl's home that same night and somebody answered then said 'No comment.' Investigating further, the police found that there was no foul play involved in Alongi's disappearance. All items in the house were intact, there was no forced entry and nothing at all was missing. In fact, around six hours later, this tweet appeared on Alongi's account: 'Why is everyone saying I'm missing? I was jkin haha' Upon this message, others were quick to dismiss the post as a hoax and a very nasty prank; but some claimed that the disappearance and the danger is real -- especially after the post was deleted after a short while. The police think the story is different, however. 'She [Alongi] is currently still missing, but we are confident she left voluntarily. No abduction, no foul play. We are investigating this as a missing runaway juvenile,' Police Chief Alan Scherb was quoted by Clark Patch, Clark's local paper, as saying. Some reports say that a cab driver claimed to have picked up Alongi from her home and drove her to the Rahway train station at about the same time her cryptic tweet came out.
