On Twitter, some hashtags get to be so popular while others don?t make much of an impression.
It?s been shown that the ones that garner the most number of responses usually relate to actual circumstances or other issues where people get to share the same experiences.
This is the case of the hashtag #IllNeverForget, which was started by @FireStatic812. The topic quickly became popular because people got to share whatever it was in their past that they would always remember, whether good or bad.
The topic had only been trending for several hours and has already garnered impressive numbers.
At 12:00am on October 19, 2012, it peaked with 31,000 tweets per hour.
A lot of people shared their own sentiments, experiences and thoughts. There was a combination of funny, sentimental, sad, happy, simple and angry posts.
