Let’s fight together against what is called ‘soft bigotry’ or “the bigotry of low expectations.” People from minority groups are just as capable as anyone else, of doing well in school or obtaining voter ID, etc. There are definitely obstacles in the education system in many states, eg. in Baltimore there are 13 schools with zero students who are proficient in Math! That tells me that the education system needs an overhaul, not that minority students are incapable of doing better! Telling students that they cannot do better also feeds into poor results. No matter what has happened in the past, there is plenty of research that shows that a change of mindset can change one’s outcomes. Read Caroline Dweck’s research-based book, Mindset, which is based on outcomes, primarily in minority communities.

The Climate Debate encompasses various aspects of the discussion around whether mankind is responsible for harmful changes to the earth’s climate (ie. anthropogenic climate change), as a result of industrialisation and our lifestyle, and if so, what we can (or should) do about it.
The primary mechanism proposed, for climate change, is the emission of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, which some climate models have linked to an increase in temperature around the globe.

Christianity is constantly being demonised by the mainstream media. Most people don’t seem to understand the teachings of Christianity, and hate Christians based on what they have been told Christians believe, and what they believe Christians think & feel, based on that misunderstanding, which comes largely from the mainstream media’s politically-motivated antagonism towards Christianity. Bible-believing Christians are absolutely against violence against anyone (except for the purpose of defending our lives and the lives of others), and in fact, Christianity preaches love for those we disagree with; even those who hate us, because that is what Jesus taught!

Protect the meaning of marriage, as defined by the Macquarie Dictionary (Third Edition):
1. the legal union of a man with a woman for life;
2. the legal or religious ceremony that sanctions or formalises the decision of a man and a woman to live as husband and wife.
The primary role of marriage in society, is to create a stable family unit into which children can be born, so that they grow up with a father and mother in a secure, committed, mutually supportive and loving family.
