Fighting to preserve the Capital Crescent Trail between Silver Spring and Bethesda. The 3 mile park is an irreplaceable mature forest ecosystem inside the DC Beltway hosting an entire web of life. It is currently threatened by MTA's multibillion dollar single line transit system that will neither be an efficient use of transportation dollars nor effective nor effective at reducing traffic. Any development plan that proposes removing 47 acres of urban forest is not sustainable development.
