Event: "Open Doors ? Skills for Successful Employment" Organised by: The Disability Office and CEC at Loughborough University. When: Between 1.30pm and 6.30pm on Wednesday 20th February. Outline: This afternoon event will offer advice and information to disabled students (including those with long term health conditions, dyslexia and mental health issues) who are looking to go into employment or onto a placement. There will be an information stand and talks and workshops on subjects such as disclosure, reasonable adjustments in the workplace and Access to Work, as well as a session to help prepare for the careers fair on the 26th February. Employers will also be present giving talks, and the day will end with a Q and A session and networking buffet dinner where students will be able to talk informally with employers, alumni and other expert staff.
