Quiet Government Men. The members of Earth Survival Org. Founded by Cartwright who, curious about the future and wary of the Climate Change claims, decided to publish his paper 'Never mind what if, what will we do when..? After the bombs at Hiroshima and Nagasaki the world went through a phase known as the Cold War. During this time much preparation and training went into plans to protect as many of the people as possible in the event of a nuclear strike. Cartwright's view that no matter the threat, fire, flood, ice, disease not even the vaguest plans were in place to do the same as for a nuclear attack. He hypothesised a future where agriculture and energy were threatened and put forward alternative plans. To this end he assembled a cadre of like minded people in positions of influence and power. They assembled a repository of knowledge and materials with which to rebuild a shattered world. The material is here now but we do not use it.
