PatchBlankets are blankets made from reject cloth, towels and fleece, all stitched together by volunteers and distributed to children in safe houses, hospitals, care centres and where needed. The project is based on an annual "marathon", starting end of winter and ends before winter the following year. It is a non-profit started by two friends, Nanette and Stephnie in Hermanus South Africa and joined later by Dennis, brother to the first.
