To promote awareness of the effect that over exposure to t.v. programs relating to cooking has on the population. The BBC may be the worst culprit with programs like The Great British Bake Off promoting delicious looking but unhealthy food. It is no surprise that there is an obesity epidemic. It's time television companies faced up to their responsibilities and the part they play in keeping people overweight. Cooking programs are cheap that's why all the channels are full of them -it's time someone put a stop to it.
