Santa's Rescue Elves - or Relves for short. A team of highly trained elves, first introduced by Monty J. McClaine in his book - Super Speed Sam: Santa's Rescue Dog, who ensure that Santa's Christmas Eve delivery passes without a hitch and that all children received their presents. The Relves undertake routine training exercises throughout the world, so they are in tip top condition if the unthinkable ever happened.
