Relates to the story of Abraham Ulrikab, an Inuk from northern Labrador who was taken to Europe in 1880 to be exhibited in zoos. Abraham and seven other Inuit from Hebron and Nachvak died of smallpox a few months after setting foot on European soil. Abraham kept a diary which was the subject of two books (an English and a German version).
