Using threats or intimidation to extort something from a victim--typically money, explicit images, or sex. The sextortionist typically threatens to publish personal, embarrassing, or compromising information about the victim on the Internet or to disseminate it to the victim?s work and social acquaintances. Sextortion may involve stalking and/or cyberstalking.
