N4D is the acronym for the best-selling book Neuromarketing for Dummies, written by Stephen Genco, Andrew Pohlmann, and Peter Steidl, published by Wiley in August 2013. Use the tag when referencing insights or findings from the book, or providing additional information relating to the book's topics. More generally, any interesting fact about how consumers' brains react to marketing, advertising, products or brands, or how those reactions lead to consumer choices or behavior, can be tagged with #N4D as a convenient way to connect these "nuggets" of knowledge together in the Twittersphere. When it comes to neuromarketing, we're all "dummies" in search of new insights, so it's ok to admit it with hashtag #N4D.
