The Big Event, to be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014, serves as the Wilson Center?s most important fundraising event. Not only does the event provide an exciting evening complete with dinner, dancing, and first-class entertainment, but it is also the major channel through which the Center raises funds for educational programming. The evening also features a performance by The Hot Sardines, who combine sultry standards from the 20s, 30s, and 40s, with a dash of Dixieland and wartime Paris into a captivating performance that will have you dancing in the aisles ? right alongside their very own tap dancer!
