When you join Wrinkly Old Women (WOW), we actively encourage everyone to sign a volunteer code of ethics and to conduct a basic child safeguarding awareness course. WrinklyOldWomen (WOW) have teamed up with international NGO : Sacred Sports Foundation Inc, a non-profit, legally registered, independent, non denominational charity, founded in 2008, with a sterling track record focused on helping tackle critical social issues of unemployment, child welfare, health and youth development, fostering increased community participation in socially inclusive physical activity, alongside efforts to promote positive gender awareness and alleviating discrimination of all kinds.

We're 60+, covered in laughter lines as opposed to wrinkles and form part of a global network offering access to a database of WrinklyOldWomen (WOW). There are still so many outdated and preconceived beliefs about the 'older generation' who are being misrepresented. Especially women over 60+. People worldwide are living longer. A longer life brings with it opportunities, and that's something worth celebrating for everyone! Yet whilst the concept of aging has changed, it's not reflected in what we see, hear and purchase, from products to services to advertising as well as marketing, branding and what is portrayed in mainstream news media. WrinklyOldWomen (WOW) born between 1946 - 1964, are the richest consumer demographic. We work. We eat and drink. We drive. We shop. We travel. We buy music. We watch sport. We attend festivals and concerts. We have fun and We spend!. So why are we being ignored? Currently, 85 per cent of ads aimed at older people rely on stereotypes. At WrinklyOldWomen (WOW), we are representative of what 'old age' looks like, and encourage the status quo to feature more women age 60+ that look like us: diverse, modern, bold, stylish and sexy.
